Will this Scenario Work on setting up a new server?

Will this Scenario Work on setting up a new server?

Will this work. I would like Input from anybody negative or positive.

Currently my SageTV server is a 2 ghz. P4 Compaq. When I do Transcoding it tends to cause Stutter.

I recently Acquired a P4 3.2 GHZ Dual threaded that I would like to use in the Future as a server for HD. I have not switched over to HD yet.

Is it Possible to get another SageTV licence install it on the 3.2. Without any tuners and Setup my current server as A network encoder and not move any tuners or Drives. I am currently using all UNC paths and would like to keep the current Wizbin etc..? That way when I do go with HD I can just slap the Tuners on the more Powerful PC.

I have 2 NIC cards on My 3.2 And I would like to use a Crossover cable to Hook up my current Server to it. I then would have my server connected to my Hub.
