Aspect ratio changes between changing channels - HD Extender

Is there any way to make an aspect ratio setting permanent between changing channels? I have to change it to "fill" every time I go between two different channels.

I posted to see if anyone knew how to remove the ZoomA and ZoomB from the aspect list since I am never going to use them. But a persistant aspect ratio like you suggest would also work. Just leave the aspect ratio set until manually changed.

Your best bet is the auto aspect ratio plugin. It works well on SageMC, and I'm guessing it still works fine in the default STV as well. You can find it in the downloads section of the forum here.

Well I tried the auto aspect plugin, and it is not exactly what I need. I need the ability to remove the ZoomA and ZoomB, or make the current aspect ratio sticky (meaning it does not change until I change it, not like it is right now that a channel change or even end of the show new show resets aspect ratio), or a way I could reorder the aspect ratio list so I can put the most used in the begining not like it is right now that my custom aspect ratios are put on the end of the list.

I doubt that you will be able to remove ZoomA and ZoomB.

There is a property called "Always Tune Channel" - in Detailed Setup / Customize. If you set that to no it should help with changing the aspect at the end of shows.

I still think the AutoAspect plugin could help your situation, but I don't know exactly how you are using your custom Aspects.
