Overlay Color Keying only when using Online Services

I must switch on/off Overlay Color Keying when I want to switch from TV to Online Services.

To view any online services is must be enabled

To switch back to TV is must be disabled.
(due to enable Close Captioning)

Is Overlay Color Keying required for everyone when using Online Services?

I suggest, within your next release, separate settings for Online Services.. such as a setting to automatically switch 'on' Overlay Color Keying when using Online Services.

Have you tried to use VMR9 as the renderer, instead of Overlay?

With VMR9 you can keep Overlay Color Keying enabled during TV usage and still get CC.

Although I've read about VMR9 in the forum, I'm not sure what it is... or if I have it. I don't recall seeing it within my configuration settings. Where I can download it?

Yes I need to use Color keying for the online stuff, using VMR causes stutter for me, so I have to run overlay

It is a different way of rendering the video. It uses DirectX9, so you do have to be using Windows.

Setup>Detailed Setup>VIdeo/Audio>Video Renderer . CHange it from Overlay to VMR9. VMR9 is more GPU intensive so if you have a weak video card, you may not be happy with it.

Your suggestion works perfectly.
I'm an now using VMR9 and not only can I switch to Online Services without making configuration changes, but the menus and close captioning are now semi-transparent. Cool!
