sage.properties question about available_channels
What does "mmc/encoders/<enc #>/100/0/available_channels=" property do?
Can i use this to limit the channels an encoder uses? If so, that would be great. I could have two encoders on one lineup but with the ability to split which channels they can use. -pez BTW, i don't know what the 100 or 0 do, but different encoders have different values. |

Ok, now that everyone is back from vacation and possibly CES, I'll ask again...

This probably has to do with storing the info of the channels you enable or don't enable in your channel lineup. The encoder is probably your tuner or other input. (such as s-video or composite.)

That's what I thought but it does not have any channels listed. The area after the = is blank.

It may be a property left over from a previous versaion that is no longer used. Are you running XP or Vista? Vista puts those files in a hidden directory called Virtual Store and saves the user settings there. Yo may be looking at the wrong one if you're on Vista.
