Help me understand something....

If I purchase a PVR 250 card which only has a s-video in right? Can I use an ATI card to use for the video out to my TV?

When they say that Sage TV is not compatible with ATI cards, does it also apply when the video is going out to my TV?

Am I seeing this all wrong?

You are correct. The "not compatible with ATI" refers to ATI's TV Capture function. An ATI video card will work just fine as an OUTPUT device, but not as an INPUT.
