youtube & Google, no picture ?

I have STV set up and working great, I'm a long time TiVo user and STV blows TiVo away ! The customization with STV is fantastic.

I'm using a PVR-500 tuner and an ATI video card for output. Everything seems to be working fine except for "online services". Weather works perfect but when I try to view anything from youtube or google, it appears to d/l and it plays audio but the screen remains black.

I've tried switching video decoders but no good. I need some advice on this please.

I'll second that problem. As I recall, it worked OK with version 6.3.5. The problem arose when I upgraded to SageMC 6.3.6

I just found the solution in this post by techbill....

I had searched a good bit but somehow missed it.

The only thing is is that the OSD is now semi transparent, not a big deal at all but I can't figure out how to make it solid now.

If you are using the overlay renderer, I think you have to enable Overlay Color Keying in Detailed Setup >> Advanced.

This doesn't work for me. Unfortunately, I need to use the overlay renderer. Any other way to fix this?

This used to work with a previous version of Sage.
