CPU 100% after upgrades

Upgraded to Sage 6.3 this weekend and updated java at the same time, worked ok last night but today it keeps freezing - CPU is running at 100% - this happened to me once over a year ago and it seemed to be some sort of conflict with zonealarm. Now I am using mcafee. Everything has been running fine for over a year so It definitely has something to do with the upgrade. Anybody else seeing this?

Thanks

This type of problem has come up before and has several different causes and solutions. In my case I first saw it when I installed Sage on my current duo core CPU. I don't recall the details but I recall Sage was starting thousands of threads and they never ended resulting in the 100% CPU usage.
The first step would be to bring up the windows task manager to see what tasks are eating up the CPU. If no single task is taking up most of the CPU, then ckeck the number of threads. If under 300 then that is probably ok. Support will probably have to resolve the issue, but you need to provide as much useful information as you can.
