pre-sales ? -->> pushing video to tv

What is the method of transport when pushing video recorded on the pc w/ sagetv software to a TV monitor?

DVI,VGA,Component,S-Video,Composite, depending on your display. I hope that's what you were asking.

The USB device or PCI capture card is only an input. Your video card is used as the output device, so which of the above options are available to you depends on your video card. Component video is available through use of VGA transcoder or dongle, svideo out is available on many video cards, etc..

Another alternative is to buy a Hauppauge PVR 350 instead of the USB version which supports both input and output. The limitation of this approach is that it only supports MPEG2 playback and can not playback DVDs and if you an HDTV it will only be sending a 480i signal instead of a HD Signal which is an option on many video cards.
