NBC HD shows, Sage reports as 720p
I have been fighting with getting smooth playback on my HD channels. At first I thought it was 1080i content. After further digging I noticed that the shows with the stuttering all were on NBC. Then noticed that sage reports all NBC shows as 720p@60. However NBC broadcasts at 1080i and when I took one of the shows that was reporting at 720p@60 (My name is earl) and ran it through videoredo it shows it as 1920x1080@29.97.
So 2 questions, why is sage reporting these shows incorrectly. And could this be the source of my stuttering. All shows are captured using HDHomerun with firmware 20071015

Try a fix I received from support here:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...1&postcount=23 Edit: this won't fix current recordings but it will work to make sure new recordings are correct. Last edited by Taddeusz; 11-30-2007 at 09:30 PM. Reason: additional information
