If not right out of the box maybe this will be the type of thing that could be put together with Sage Studio? I'm excited to discover what it is capable of...

The current version of SageTV has support for pictures. You just have to enable it in the properties file.

I have tried that in the current version and found that it only works well when you have a small number of photos. I have over 3000 pictures that are sorted by folders and it would be nice to be able to browse by folders and then see the thumbnails and then see a slideshow. I can't seem to find a way to do this.
