SageTV is a great piece of software
Ok after all the problems that I ran into the first week of owning it I was about ready to give up. Well after a week of running the software I can't live without it. I am really starting to understand what Tivo owners say when they say they watch less TV when owning a Tivo. I only watch the stuff I want to watch when I watch it.

had a tivo 1, hacked the hell out of it. upgraded the hdd's U name it
but I sold it, and went PC. cause it was too much work to extract video NOW it is easier with tivo, but the PC is still the easiest

I've totally loved my series 1 TiVo but I've become increasing frustrated with both its limitations and it slow speed. I hate the fact that I can't run the latest features with my series 1. I would have probably just bought a second TiVo if they could play together better. But now that I have my Sage server setup I would never think about getting a TiVo. This is so much cooler it isn't even funny.
