350 setup

could someone please tell me the proper setting when setting up a tuner pvr-350

directtv receiver coax out to the 350

I cant seem to get picture when i use the s-video i get picture

but I want to use the coax

ok when i set it up to tv tuner cable I get sound but no picture and no serial control of my drtv box

Did you go to the card settings in SageTV and change the input?

that was the question I was asking what was the proper setting in the sage setup for a coax from a direct tv receiver.

if i set it up for s-video and use the s-video from my box I get perfect picture.

but I am not sure of the right setting for the coax

Im pretty sure I tried them all

Is it supposed to be a tuner,composit???

Disclaimer: I have no direct knowledge of a direct tv receiver.

You should be using either tuner antenna or tuner cable. I would think that the direct tv receiver would act much like a VCR and only output to channel 3 or 4. If this is the case you probably want tuner antenna. Have you considered connecting to a real TV just to see what you get?

Thanks tuner constant channel 3 was the only one I did not try now it works great thanks again
