New SageTV User Question
1) When I listen to music via Sage 1.4, I'd like the stop key
on my PVR-250 silver remote to stop the music. Currently, the pause button will pause it. What would I need to add to the remote configuration file for the stop button to work? 2) Is there an option for displaying the detailed show information as I scroll through the show names in the EPG? I got used to this on MythTV where the info was just there instead of having to hit detailed info button. Also, having the current channel playing in the preview window while the guide is up is nice to have as well. All in all, I've been very happy with SageTV. I spent several weeks with RH9, mythtv on my EPIA-M- got it all up and running but the performance was lousy to what I have with SageTV. I learned a lot, but in the end spending a few bucks for a good product is worth it. Can't wait to try 2.0. Thanks, -Raj |

Raj,
1) There is no stop function in SageTV other than all paused media gets stopped once SageTV is put to sleep. 2) Version 2 has this integrated in the Guide but your only option for version 1 is to press "Info" on one show and then scroll through with the info box enlarged.

Maybe a stop button prevent some of the confusion new people have about Sage constantly recording live tv after viewing it. If pushed when recording a favorite or one time it could warn that it will stop the current recording. Just a thought.
