Can HDHR and HVR-1600 share the same channel map?

I have a HDHR using the BDA approach mapped to Comcast Digitial Extended-Houston. I get about 30 clear QAM channels with reliable performance. I just added the HVR-1600 digital tuner (have been using the analog side for a while and just loaded new drivers for QAM support) and used FMAX's post on setting up the card (Thanks again FMAX). I used the DirectTV-Houston lineup and remapped all the DTV X.X channels found in Sage's channel scan to the proper new physical channel.

I noticed that the HDHR channel editor matched the frequency (is that the right name for the major-minor pairs i.e. 77-2?) found with the base Sage channel scan for the HVR-1600. Is there any way for the HDHR and HVR-1600 to share the same lineup? I'm looking to avoid future headaches as Comcast shifts its programming around.

Thanks for any advice.

Devices that share the exact same Channel Tuning METHOD (Logical Channel Lineup, Physical Channel Remap and Physical Numbering technique) have a better chance of sharing EPG lineups.

Unfortunately, the HDHR and the HVR-1x00 cards don't share the same Physical REMAP numbering in SageTV. The HDHR uses a single xx number in its REMAP while the HVR-1x00 cards use xx-yy-zz.

hope this is ok to post here...

here's what I get after a channel scan:

CH:1 major:0 minor:1 prog:1 phy:54 frq:403250000 mod:11 inv:0 #:DTV54.1
CH:2 major:0 minor:2 prog:2 phy:54 frq:403250000 mod:11 inv:0 #:DTV54.2
CH:3 major:0 minor:3 prog:3 phy:54 frq:403250000 mod:11 inv:0 #:DTV54.3
CH:4 major:0 minor:5 prog:5 phy:54 frq:403250000 mod:11 inv:0 #:DTV54.5
CH:5 major:0 minor:6 prog:6 phy:54 frq:403250000 mod:11 inv:0 #:DTV54.6
CH:6 major:0 minor:7 prog:7 phy:54 frq:403250000 mod:11 inv:0 #:DTV54.7
CH:7 major:0 minor:8 prog:8 phy:54 frq:403250000 mod:11 inv:0 #:DTV54.8
CH:8 major:0 minor:3 prog:16 phy:62 frq:451250000 mod:11 inv:0 #:DTV62.16

i'm trying to figure out how to map that to actual digital cable channel numbers as tuned by a STB. so far I haven't had any luck.

54-1 should map to WRCB (4)
62-16 should be DNCE (819)
etc etc

any help would be appreciated as the HVR-1800 channels don't read the station ID like the HDHR and show up as extra channels in the lineup.

Edit: nevermind. figured it out. mapped 4 to 54-0-1 physical and got WRCB. Music channel order is messed up, but the HDHR can handle them for now.

ok, looks like i had my head somewhere again. mapping for the HVR-1800 is "phy-major-minor" not "phy-0-prog" like I originally tried. there are some intermittent channels i'm going to try to manually insert at the end of the .frq file when I get time.

With Sage 6.4.5 and the latest beta from Silicondust I am using the exact same channel map. After getting the .frq file for my HDHR I copied over the data from that file into the .frq file for the other HDHR tuner as well as the HVR-1800 and it works fine.
