Emuzed Maui support?

Hi,
I've seen the windows media center pc's that come with the emuzed maui tv card, has anyone tried to get these working with sagetv?

the mpeg2 encoder is the LSI Logic DVxcel

bump...id like to pick up the new low profile card from emuzed. Will sage ever support it?

Client 1/Master BR - MediaMVP running a 30" Olevia LCD TV.
Client 2/Front Room - Shuttle ST61G4 XPC 1gig ram, 60gb HD, BTC9019 wireless keyboard/mouse & Harmony 880. 6.x client. GF6600GT driving a Sony WEGA 55" rear projection tv.

suppose I could just get a ATI E-Home or yuan mpg600 and cut the mount down to low profile size...sure would be nice if hauppauge got off their ass and went low profile. Then we could make real HTPC's

hauppauge dose have low profile card but you have call hauppauge sale and cry for model 30xxx insomniac.

Bump.

Let's get back to the topic here.

Is there support for the emuzed chipset? It's a LSI DVExplore MPEG2 encoder and I think one of those Philips SAA something chipsets. I saw an open box card at a store which will remain nameless cause I don't want anyone buying it yet.

Better yet, can someone refer us to a thread that has the complete listing of encoder chipsets that are supported by Sage?

Well.. Here's my update.

I have the Maui II. Sage doesn't detect it.

End of story...

Hopefully not. I know that few people have these so convincing one of the developers to provide support might be mission impossible...

I am willing to lend my card for the effort though. Seriously.

thats weird.. i bought one of the first media centers by HP, and i have the emuzed evcap maui, and it was detected by sagetv, but i get an error of "capture errorin playback. details : ERROR (-5,80140000) there was a problem setting up software compression"
