Will the Pixelview PlayTV work with SageTV?

Hi sage community,

I just started researching pvr solutions after recently enjoying my friend's tivo. I have this existing tv tuner card:

PixelView Play TV Pro
( Model name: PV-BT878P+ rev. 4C / 8C/8D / 8E 10A)

and was wondering if it will be compatible with Sagetv. I'm not quite sure if it encodes in mpeg2 format.
