How to set up remote for things that don't have shortcuts?

My client machine has a medion x10 rf remote. I am getting somewhat proficient with eventghost for the basic stuff using keyboard emulation, but I can't figure out how to set it up for things like a direct jump to the Music Library, which doesn't have a keyboard shortcut, according to the manual. Any way to do that?

There's the Music Jukebox command (event #84, p. 201 of the manual). It doesn't have a keystroke by default, but you can assign one, or use the event number with SendMessage.

Don't use keystrokes!!!

Download a beta version of EventGhost and install the SageTV plugin.
Map the remote commands to the SageTV commands desired.
You are done, enjoy.

I knew a plugin had to exist somewhere, but I never thought of having to download a whole beta tro get it, I thought it would be a standalone add-on. Thanks!!

For an added project you can use exclusive modes in EventGhost to control each MVP in your home with the remote too.

This requires Neil's Webserver interface and wget, not too hard to get setup.
