USB-UIRT with BEV 3100 / Dish 301

Good morning,

I'm at a loss at this point as to why I'm having issues with my USB-UIRT blasting my BEV 3100 correctly 100% of the time. I do have the 56k (?) version of the USB-UIRT which supports the 3100/301 receivers. The funny thing is that before I moved my server, it seemed to work about 99% of the time, but now it's down to about 80%.

I'm using an IR emitter plugged into the UIRT that has not changed. I've tried moving it around (it's one that sticks to the eyes on the front of the receiver) and haven't seen an improvement.

I'm wondering if someone could direct me to a replacement IR emitter that they have had good luck with, and perhaps another INI file for the remote commands. I've tried a few from this website over the past month or two, and haven't found a perfect one either *sigh*.

Anyway, I'm wondering more if the IR emitter cable is crap... but I'm still at a loss as to how to make this more reliable.

I've been thinking about upgrading my hardware and going the R5000 route, but if I'm not going to get reliable tuning, it's kind of a worthless investment
