Channels listed twice in guide with dual tuner DVB

I am attempting to get a Sage system up and running with a Hauppauge Nova-T 500 dual DVB-T tuner.

I set up both tuners in the same way, selecting no program guide data in setup. When I now go into the program guide, the data has been retrieved from the OTA broadcast but each channel is displayed twice, one for each tuner, in the program guide e.g.

BBC1 News | Eastenders | Cash in the attic
BBC1 News | Eastenders | Cash in the attic
BBC2 Prog 1 | Prog 2 | Prog 3
BBC2 Prog 1 | Prog 2 | Prog 3
...
...

Is there any way of "linking" the channels together or would I be better using an XMLTV source for my EPG?

Many thanks for any help!

You need to get one of your tuners to use the channel setup of the other:

In the EPG section instead of choosing the 'no program guide' option use the one beneath it, called something like 'use channel listings from another tuner'.

I think this should sort it out - let us know how you get on.

Fantastic - worked first time. Many thanks for that.

Looking at moving from BTV and having a little bit of a culture shock during my parallel run!

Suspect I also have some issues with signal strength to my Nova-T 500 card scanning all available channels but I'm sure I'll get it all sorted out.

Ian.

I have the exact same problem, but can't find the EPG settings in the 'detailed setup' menu. Am I looking in the wrong place?

The option mentioned above is part of the source setup, when choosing whether/how to configure program guide data. You should also be able to access that screen from Setup -> Setup Video Sources -> choose a tuner to go to Source Details -> EPG Lineup.
