HIP 1600 Remote/Changing Channels on DirecTV STB
My setup:
Vista x64 Ultimate WinTV-HVR-1600 (includes 45-button remote/ir blaster) SageTV (latest stable release) DirecTV HR-10 STB My issue: I completed the setup wizard, configuring DirecTV STB on TV Tuner. Program guide there, picture there, when I imut with HIP remote, shows up and IR light flashing in front of STB... but alas, no channel changing. Numbers show up when inputed, can select program from channel guide with remote or mouse, video even freezes for a split sec, but video does not change (channel bar reflects change, but vid no change). ? IR Blaster Configuration
After hours of reading and testing, I realized I had overlooked one of the installed apps in HIPs dir: IR Blaster Configuration.
After running this prog, the HIP IR blaster and remote work flawlessly with sageTV. Also tested with D10-100, works fine. Hope this helps some other noobs...
