No Signal
Since installing v6.2.10, I seem to be plagued by the "No Signal" error. It appears to only happen on one of my tuners. I have 3...
1 retail pvr250 1 retail hvr1600 1 oem 88x series card (often referred to as the Roslyn or Blackbird) The 88x is the one that seems to fail. I tried the Dshow dll that was posted earlier for someone experiencing similar problems with their plextor, but no luck. Any ideas??? - Josh

IIRC, the Roslyn/Blackbird models are supported directly by SageTV tech support. I'd recommend submitting a tech support request for this issue.

It appears I may have spoken too soon. I replaced the Roslyn with another identical one that I had lying around and the problem seems to be resolved. So I guess, the card was going bad.

HVR-1800 & OnAir HDTV GT - No Signal
Interesting. I had a successful, running installation of SageTV 6.2.10 with my OnAir HDTV GT. I then installed a new HVR-1800, and removed the OnAir. During the Digital and Analog scans during setup, the HVR-1800 detects channels (I get green dots on good channels). But when I select a channel from the guide or even click "View" on the channel configuration list, I get "no signal." WinTV works fine with both analog and digital channels. But it appears Sage isn't tuning the HVR-1800 at all, except during the channel scan.
I reinstalled the OnAir on a different USB port, and now even *it* is giving "no signal." I don't know what is going on. I'll try reinstalling Sage and report back. If that doesn't work, I'll try a clean install (ugh), unless someone has an idea that I can do to get this working. BTW, the HVR-1800 is detected by Sage as an Hauppauge WinTV 885 series. I can't wait to see how it all works when I get it going. |
