SageTV and Asterisk

Currently, I have SageTV running on a stand-alone box.

I will be moving to an apartment shortly and was thinking of consolidating computers. I would have 1 wireless extender (I don't believe the apartment is wired).

Would SageTV perform OK if I also installed Asterisk on the same box? Chances are, I wouldn't be on the phone while I was watching TV, but there might be a rare occassion.

It would be a new "beefy" box.

Any recommendation/guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I dunno if the wireless extender would work much less using a wifi phone client.

Maybe wire MVP and phone together and wireless link to server?

Sorry. Let me add some more information.

In my "office" (den), I was going to install a beefy server and hook up a phone (or softphone installed on server) directly to it using a wired switch.

In the living room (not that far away), I was going to set up the wireless extender.

Just one wireless piece of equipment.

I haven't used the wireless extender before, but the reception should be good and the distance should be close.

wireless extender has a bad rap, use a wired one and a gaming machine wifi adapter. That or wifi link as was mentioned.
