Tiscali TV

Has anyone seen Tiscali TV?

I read that it has its own STB, I was wondering if sage could control it like the Sky boxes.

Tiscali TV has 2 versions.

for £19.99 you get free phone line rental, free weekend calls, 2MB broadband and Tiscali TV mix.

for £24.99 you get free phone line rental, free calls, 8MB broadband.

I'm always dubious about switching to something I haven't seen, but my current monthly bills are.
BT - £12 approx
Pipex - £24.99 (8mb with static IP)
Sky - £21

It could give quite a considerable saving, and I can keep using the sky boxes as freeview sources. I don't need the static IP, I'd go back to DDNS.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

A bit of a late reply...
Tiscali are a bit crap, but not neccessarily more so than all the rest...

Have you thought about Sky's broadband? It's pretty good overall and will save a lot if they've LLUd in your area.
