Do I have to buy Sage again to get the upgrade to Version 6?

Do I have to buy Sage again to get the upgrade to Version 6? I currently have sage version 5.0.4 that I purchased from PC Alchemy. I purchased the software last year

You need this upgrade license, http://store.sagetv.com/Merchant2/me...tegory_Code=SS, since you had purchased SageV4.1. If you had purchased SageV5, then you could have upgraded to V6 free of charge. V4 and earlier have to purchase a $40 upgrade license.

edit: Its just one upgrade fee for the server. Any SageClient or Extender licenses will still work in V6 without any upgrade licensing needed.

License Notes: SageTV Media Center is a free update if you already own a license for version 5.0 or later. SageTV Media Center version 4.1 or earlier licenses require a version 6 upgrade license.

The SageTV Placeshifter and SageTV Client updates are free. No version 6 upgrade license is required for Client, Placeshifter, or Media Extender licenses. All Linux licenses are also still valid.
