I haven't had any problems with FF since the first day of installation. The trick is to NOT hold down the FF button when skipping commercials. Be gentle and press it intermittently - it's worked great for me since.

FAT32 has a 4GB file size limit, which means you'll get fragmented files for recordings >4GB in size.

I've using NTFS 64K blocks and the 350 with xx.21082 Hauppauge drivers that came with the Frey bundle.

computer is a P4 1.8 with 512 DDR RAM and 2 200 GB HD's

not exactly old but not brand new either.

Fat32 gives me A LOT less problems then NTFS, but I am always willing to entertain new ideas here. I have no idea how to format with 64 ... clusters.

The Fast Forward I have does about 10 seconds worth

I am not aware of FF2. Do I have that? Is it on my Remote Control (Hauppage)?

Not sure of your OS, but here are instructions if XP. Right click on My Computer and select Manage. Then under Storage select Disk Management. You can then select your disk and format. Be sure to specify 64K, otherwise it will default to 4K.

The FF2 is another SageTV comand not currently mapped that skips 150 seconds. I have mapped mine to the F12 key. Go into setup->detailed setup->commands, find Skip Fwd #2 toward the bottom and map to your preferred keystoke or remote button. I use the blue button, but I have moved several functions on my remote. You also want to define Skip Bkwd #2.
You can also change the amount of the skip times in the properties file for all of the skip functions if you prefer other settings.
