Unhappy Manual recording with SageTV ?

Is there a way to manual record something with SageTV.

ie: Record a channel that's not in any guide from 10:am to 11am every sunday ?

I have not found a way to manual record. I read the manual and looked at the FAQ

thanks

I haven't tried to do this myself but there have been many posts about it. You can either use SageRecorder which does exactly this sort of thing or you can add any old channel for that source and then use the modify start/end time if necessary to make a show coincide with the time that you want to record. There have been many requests to support this more directly and Dan has said that it will be in version 2.
