SageTV, r5000 and 2 modified Dish ViP211's

I have just hooked up two modified Dish ViP211 receivers via USB to my Sage Server. I down loaded the Nextcom HD DVR (r5000) software w/SageTV compatibility. I edited my sagetv.properties file and added the modifications I found on the nextcome installation page. SageTV sees both receivers and I can even setup different channel mappings and see both channel maps. With my first client I can watch TV and channel surf without problem. While the first SageTV Client is watching a channel the second SageTV client can only watch the same channel. If I choose a different channel on the 2nd client I get the error that no encoder is available even though I am seeing the channel mapping for the second encoder when I go to program guide. I think it is just a setting in the sagetv.properties but I don't know where to begin.

Can anyone give me a direction to go in?

TIA

Could be a few things, try checking these:

In your sage.properties file, do you have 2 r5000 entries, each with unique port numbers?

Are you starting 2 instances of the R5000 app, with each ones Sage Server port setting configured to match the unique port numbers listed in the sage.properties file?
