Upgrade to 6.25 & lost an icon

Just upgraded from 6.019 to 6.25. Also using SageMC 6.33b. It all went very smoothly. Only -- I am now missing an icon that I really relied on.

6.019 had an icon that would tell me which STB a recording was scheduled on. (It was a "1" or "2" in a kind of greenish circle). I have 2 STBs -- one of which is HD and gets more channels than the regular "SD" STB. This only matters if I want to record something from the HD channels (I know -- it's not "really" HD until I get an HD capture card). There are a couple movie channels up there that I occasionally want to watch.

I have the merit of the HD box set higher than the SD box ... but there are times where a recording will schedule on channels that are missing from the SD box. The SD box doesn't get video signal on the HD channels. The icon was a great help in catching that before it was too late.

Was this icon really part of Sage MC?? Anyone know how to get it back?

Thanks!

thats interesting. I just did the same thing 2 days ago and I have the opposite problem - now every recording and future recording has an encoder # icon after it, since I have only one encoder, its very annoying and I could not figure out where in the settings to turn it off!

Two things to check:
First, are you using any STVi's? If so, go back to the default.

Next, check your sagemc/images directory (probably C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\sagemce\Images" for EncoderMarker1.png-EncoderMarker7.png.
If these are missing, go up one level and look for them in other IMAGES_* directories.

Ok I have them in "C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\sagemce\Images" ..... how do I make them work? Should I move them someplace?

Now go into your SageMC Options. Look for Icons in the options and make sure there is a checkmark in the box for what icon you want to use and what screens you want to see it in.

Are you talking about this screen? (see attached)
I have NEVER been able to make this screen function or accept any input.

You are missing a couple of image files. Drop these into your .../SageMCE/Images folder.

Mike
