Sage lockups when fast forwarding
My Sage system has been pretty reliable, but I'm running into issues where if I hit the fast-forward button repeatedly on the remote while watching a liveTV or recorded show, SageTV will lock up hard.
It doesn't happen all the time, but it's happened enough times now that I expect it if I'm hitting the button very fast. Which, when it's commercial time, I want to do - I want to hit it 6 times quickly to get past that 1 minute commercial. When it does lock up, killing SageTV from the task manager then restarting it gets things going again, so I don't think it's any sort of IRQ issue (that would lock the PC up hard, not just SageTV). Not only is this annoying, but of course if timeshifting I lose portions of the show! Any suggestions?

I use to have that problem when using one of the other video drivers. I switched back to the default driver and don't have that problem anymore.

I had the same problem on my system. Switching from Hauppauge to Sonic decoder fixed it.

Thanks, I'll try a different decoder. I don't recall which one I'm currently set on (I'm at work at the moment). I know I was playing with it to try to get the elecard drivers working, but no go on those so far.
