I don't really know where to put this question, but I think here is appropriate. I just resently started using Sagetv I purchased the Wireless Media Extender and the WinTV-PVR-500MCE PCI card. I wanted to import my all of the videos of movies and tv shows i already have and i did so and everything works fine. I just have one small problem. Is there a way i can put videos in a folders or organise them in a manner so i dont have to scroll threw 651 videos to get to an episode of Top Gears. Its hard when all of my videos don't have the proper season number/ titles on them and going threw that many videos and renaming them would be a pain.

You can do exactly what you said. Organize everything by folders and set the Imported Media view to the proper setting. Thats what I do.

As mentioned above, you can change the video browser view to the Folder style, then you will be able to browse the folder structure. Also, if you turn on the hidden extras, there is an option to filter the video list by the text you start to type. You can filter via the number pad too, using the letters each number corresponds to.
