What's currently state of the art in quality?
Hi,
I've been using SageTV since early version 4 in a P4-2.4ghz setup with a Hauppage PVR-350 card. I have Dish Network and use an external IR emitter for tuning the box. I also have an Nvidia FX5200 (fanless) card to handle the occasional PC duties. Every once and a while I long for playback of AVI files and the such out the S-Video port of the PVR-350 for that high quality picture. So it prompted me to ask the question, "What is the state of the art in highest quality video output from sage that handles all video formats?" I'll move to HD broadcasts in a couple of years so consideration for SD/HD handling is a plus. Thanks, Chad |
