Any Dishnetwork user using multiple SAT receiver with SageTV?

Are you using and USB-UIRT and is the USB-UIRT leaning the Dish IR codes?.
I know the Actisys ACT IR-200L can't read codes rigth from the Dishnetwork IR remote that why all one IR file.

My goal is to do this
(2) WinTV-PVR 250
(2) Dishnetwork Receiver 301
(1) USB-UIRT
I setup the first Dishnetwork Receiver on remote address 1 and I have USB-UIRT lean the remote codes for remote address 1.
I setup the senocd Dishnetwork Receiver on remote address 2 and I have USB-UIRT lean the remote codes for remote address 2.
So the USB-UIRT can sent diff remote codes for each Dishnetwork Receiver of each PVR card so has any here done this.

By the way who interest in SageTV channel guide logos for Dish I have 474 done other then local TV channel that by it self is a wopping 1500+ channel logo hehehe.

Hi SHS,

I'm in the process of setting up what you describe in your first post. I have the two pvr-250's and two dish 301 receivers, but I currently have only one Actysis IR-200L.

Did you ever get 1 USB-UIRT to control the 2 dish receivers? Did it work as you described above or did you have to do something else?

Thanks for the help,
Rob

Thanks for the reply. I certainly understand the limited cash thing. Lots of toys I'd like to have, but they wait until cash becomes available.

Anyway, The USB-UIRT is next on my list, then more hard drive space, then.....

So, I'm going to try your suggestions from the first post. Maybe it will work.

Thanks,
Rob

how do you set the remote codes on the dish 301? I can't find a switch to set room 1 or 2 anywhere in the menus, the boxes, or the remotes.

I've always seen this talked about, but I can't for the life of me, find it.

Thanks

Try both way
1: Press the SAT button on your remote until all four MODE button light up then the SAT button should be flashes red, then enter the number of the new remote address using the remote number pad - i.e. 03 to set to address 3, press the # button and then press the REC button

2: Press the SAT button on your remote until all four MODE button light up then the SAT button should be flashes red, then enter the number of the new remote address using the remote number pad - i.e. 03 to set to address 3, press the # button and then press the REC button wait for SAT button to stop flashing red then press the REC button then system information screen update with the new remote address just set.
