Extender plays wrong file?
I bought a wMVP the other day and got everything working with little issue. While doing some testing I noticed a strange behavior.
While recording a show, I selected a previously recorded program to play back via the MVP. The show that started playback was the show that was recording. At first I figured I had hit a secret key combination on the remote and chose "play live tv". So, I stopped the playback and reselected the previously recorded file and once again the "live buffer" began playback.
This confused me, I stopped playback scrolled down to another recorded program and hit play. The recorded program played back as expected. I then stopped and tried to playback the original recorded program and got the Live buffer again.
After the recording finished (I tried the next morning) the original recorded program played back fine via the MVP.
[EDIT:] Was able to reproduce this behavior last night. Attempting to watch the "first" listing in a multiple listing folder while a show is recording, got me the live TV buffer. Choosing something else from the list or a single recording at the "root" obtained the correct buffer. Known problem?
This behavior is strange enough that I am questioning my sanity. So, is this just some crazy server foulup isolated to my machines or does this happen to other folks?
Thanks in advance,
DQ
