Tearing at the top of the screen

Hi all!

I'm getting some tearing at the top of the output from one of my PVRs (using SageTV v1.4.10 and a Hauppauge PVR350). It's not always noticable on every MPEG. But my other system, no problems.

Is this the "Zoom" feature? If so, do I zoom more to crop the top?

Thanks!

Kevin

I get this too. It happens to me in WinTV(outside of SageTV). When Tuner cards first started coming out, we had an adjustment for the card drivers(almost like overlay settings), I can't seem to find the adjustment for the hauppauge drivers. I'm hoping there is some registry hack somewhere to zoom 1 line out to get rid of the tearing.

falchulk, thanks, but any details on how to use it? What it does? The manual wasn't too clear on it.

falchulk, thanks, that's what I was looking for. So basically you're increasing the screen dimensions, and they should cut off the top (and of course) the bottom 1, 2 or more lines. I'll play with it this weekend and see what happens.
