Close Sage from a batch file?

Hi all!

Every overnight I run a bunch of maintenance automatically.

At 3AM, a batch file runs to shutdown Sage. I do this because it runs FSE and external programs generally hose FSE until restart. I also do this so backup routines and defrag don fight Sage.

After Sage shuts down, the AV definitions update, Sage settings are backed up via another batch file, defrag runs, and finally the system gets rebooted at 5AM.

Right now, I use the PSKill utility to close Sage prior to maintenance. The bad part of that is I don't think PSKill is nice to the apps it closes, i.e. it doesn't allow them to shut down on their own terms. This could corrupt the Sage DB and properties files.

Is there a better way of shutting down Sage gracefully from a batch file?

I'm thinking of using a GUI scripting tool that can record and play back mouse clicks to record the keys and clicks to shut down Sage, but if the button positions change (different skins), I'll have to redo the script.

I'm running the latest Sage with SageMC 16x9 on a dedicated HTPC (no server).
