DVD Sound Plays VERY Quietly
Hi,
Can anyone tell me why the sound level for a ripped DVD played thru Sage would be so low? Is there any way to make it louder? Karen

Dolby Digital and DTS have a much larger dynamic range than regular TV audio, which is why they are quieter.
You can use AC3Filter as your audio renderer. This will let you turn on Dynamic Range Compression, which will boost the soft sounds and decrease the loud ones.

Thanks for the info! One additional question. After I select the AC3Filter, how do I turn on Dynamic Range Compression?
