Sage not seeing WinTV-PVR2-USB2 all of a sudden

SageTV V6
ATIX800XTAIW (only Radeon drivers installed)
HDHomeRun (working okay)
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR2-USB2

About a week ago, I upgraded to the latest Radeon drivers for my video card. Since then SageTV can't see the PVR2 unit. I noticed it when all I had for available TV channels were the (5) that I get on the HDHomeRun unit. Went back into Setup, tried to Add it, but all it sees are the (2) HDHR tuners, the old ATI tuner (part of the all-in-wonder vid card, not compatible w/SageTV), and nothing else. Windows sees it fine, plugged in, lights on, tried reinstalling PVR2 drivers, no change.

My next step is to reinstall STV, really don't want to spend the time to get that all reconfig'd. The only change that I've made to the properties file (quite some time back, worked fine) was to set the device priority on the HDHR unit higher than the PVR2 unit so it would always choose to record HD stations using the HDHR.

Can't figure out where the PVR2 unit went.

It shouldn't do this any more, but just in case... check the mmc/ignore_encoders property line in sage.properties. If the PVR-USB2 is listed there, remove the line while SageTV isn't running, then restart.

Well, that's what it said. I removed the PVR2 from the list, and now it's working again. Thanks, Andy. Any idea what I would have done to cause this problem? There are a few other things in that line that I don't understand why it would ignore, HDHR tuners, and the X-fi Audio ...

I'm not entirely sure why the card got added to that line -- SageTV had problems using it at some point I guess & decided it was best to ignore it from then on. Most standard tuners should be kept off that line in the most recent versions of SageTV. If it happens again, you might want to let support know about it.
