The 00 in the ui/themes should be the next number higher than the already included themes, I think there are already 5, so it needs to be 6 or higher.

Are you currently running the SageMC addon? Which version? If all you see is SageTV3.stv, then it sounds like you are running an older version. The older Sage STVs did not know about .xml files so they won't display them. To get back to a newer .xml STV, you either need to do some studio work, or shut down sage and modify the sage.properties file to have it load SageTV3.xml and then delete any .stv files in SageTV/SageTV/STVs/SageTV3. They are obsolete and not needed.

TO install the current version of SageMC, First install this, http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/down...do=file&id=141 , then this, http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/down...do=file&id=139 . Then, after you load the new SageMC_169.xml file, you can choose between themes by going to Setup>Select Theme

edit: there is a slight alteration you will need to do if you are using SageMC on the new SageTV6.2.4 beta, but we can get to that later, if has to do with the way imported videos display in the list.

Any chance someone would repackage this theme to work with the new 6.2 themes?

TIA

Single digits. Use 0 instead of double 00.

Thank you for your prompt response. I got it working now. One more question though... I have noticed some of the menus don't seem to match the "color scheme" of the theme. For example If I right click on the main screen I get a menu cancel, sleep, exit sage. The background of this menu is blue. Is this the way its supposed to look? THANX!

Is there a way to adjust the size of the selection bar on the home screen? As it looks like its overlapping the t on the START image. I have tried resizing the selections bars (maintaining the same file location and name) but it doesn't seem to do any good.

Oh man, I can't wait to get home & try this out! Thank you for the 6.3.4 update!

I always got frustrated with the fact that the original MP Foofaraw theme was never finished so I could never use it full-time on my HTPC. It is ironic that I can use the finished product in another application.

Dirk always saves the day

Also, thanks for the work in this theme. I have always loved it. It even covers the gauss marks on my crappy TV.

Just made another minor change to the structuring of the files to make use of some of the 6.3.5 features. If you already have it working on your system, there is no need to re-download the new version.

Mouse not working on program guide

Theme looks great! One problem though - the mouse doesn't seem to be functional on the program guide screen. Could you check into that?

Oh, by "not working" I mean that I can't select anything with a left mouse click, even though I can move around the cursor, use the scroll wheel, and bring up the right click menu.

Thanks,
k10ck3r

That wouldnt be something directly associated with this theme as it is essentially just a graphics package. You would have to ask flachbar about that in the main SageMC stv thread. I wouldn't know if it does or doesn't work, as I control my HTPC purely via remote.

Ok, I'll check in the other SageMC thread. Thanks for the quick response though!

If it weren't for this theme, I wouldn't be using SageMC. No kidding...never liked the other themes. I love this one though!

So, question...I assume this is something that can be fixed in the theme (I hope). When I pull up any other menu while watching something (full screen in background), I can barely read any menus unless the TV image is very dark. There's should be a 50% alpha on the background or something so that the menus are clear. Is there an image I can change to make this happen? It's really annoying that I have to stop playback just to navigate around...

Thanks for the great theme!

Are you talking about the overlay just for special options for when you are watching TV, such as "program info", "aspect ratio", etc??

If so there is an option in SageMC to change the Alpha for those screens. Go to Settings > SageMC > Screen Specific Options > Video OSD > OSD Alpha.

If you are talking about ALWAYS displaying video in the background for ALL menus, such as guide, My TV, My Weather, etc. screens... then I'm not sure if that is possible with SageMC. I don't use that option... I prefer to have the video displayed in a window when browsing the menus. If you want to change to that setting, you can go to the detailed setup screen in the default theme, then go to the setup menu and run the configuration wizard to set it back to the window option instead.

You may want to make a post in the regular SageMC thread to inquire about this. If you really prefer the full screen video with the menus overlayed on top, perhaps flachbar can look into included better support for it in the next version of SageMC
