Upgrade to Java 1.6.01 breaks PageUp and PageDown functions

So after reading about the performance improvements that others have enjoyed (esp with their MVP's) by upgrading to Java 1.6.01, I took the plunge. To my surprise, the Channel + and Channel - buttons no longer work as page up and down in the UI screens. I uninstalled Java 1.6.01, reverting to 1.4 and the buttons worked again.

I am using Sage V6.0.19.120 on XP. Any ideas?

Thanks,
--John

What are you using to send those commands to SageTV?

What does it show if you go to Detailed Setup -> Commands -> Show Command & try those commands?

Wow, Andy, that was a quick response! I'm using Girder to feed keystrokes to Sage from a JP-1 IR remote. Using the Detailed Setup screen, the keys show up in 1.4 and don't appear in 1.6. In the Girder developer screen, the keys show up in both Java environments, sending PRIOR and NEXT keys to Sage.

I'm not changing anything except the Java package. Uninstalling the Java release returned the functionality.

Really pretty odd.

Thanks, Andy, you're a real asset to the Sage community.

Are those commands send in a way that is different from how the other commands are sent? Different window target, etc? What exactly is Girder sending?

Um... I haven't actually helped so far... I've just asked questions so maybe someone will see what the issue is.
