Every show is a "First Run" when using XMLTV

Just wondering if this is a common problem, and if anyone has a work-around for it.

When using the XMLTV plugin, -every- show is listed as a "First Run" episode. This means if I tell Sage to record only "First Run" episodes of the Simpson's, I get about 98 recordings a week!

Is this a bug in the XMLTV plugin?

later...

Not a bug in XMLTV, but rather when XMLTV gets the guide listings, most of those listings to not contain First Run/Rerun data and so the software defaults to indicating a show as first run. It would rather err on the side of taping too many shows, than not taping any.

Ahhh, I see that now. Looking at the XMLTV data, there simply is no indication of first run/rerun.

Now the question is, how can I get it to only record the new Simpsons episode Sunday night and not tape over 100 repeats the rest of the week...
