Java Installation
Have you considered using Java Web Start or Deploy Director (from Sitraka) to install the product? With either one you wouldn't need to make the user go get a copy of Java first - they will do it for you. I've had experience with both (Deploy Director is better, but you have to pay for it - JWS is free) and we use it for our stuff.
