				HDHomerun and SageTV Client freezes?

Occasionally, when I'm viewing a HD program live from my Sage Server with a Sage client, which in turn is retrieving it from the HDHomerun box, I can get a pause of up to 20-30 seconds before I view anything when changing channels. Even worse, my whole PC freezes during this time. I don't have this problem watching HD directly from the Sage server PC, nor do I ever have any freezes like this on my PC with the Sage client. Its unique to this cirumstance. Anyone have this problem?

I don't have this problem with VLC directly to the HDHomerun on either PC. It happens only when "hairpinning" through the Sage server NIC. Robert |

Cyberlink PowerDVD codec is at fault. Everything else is okay.

Robert, can you explain this situation further. I see similar, significant pauses with HDTV in Sage (when viewed directly on the SageMC PC). Is it possible that Cyberlink is causing this situation also?

Yes, if I use the Cyberlink decoder for HD channels, all hell breaks loose. The Sage and NVidia decoders are fine.
