Stuttering in recordings from NBC
Howdy!
I have noticed that when I record hockey games from NBC's broadcasts (standard TV), playback in Sage stutters at a fairly constant 1 Hz or so rate. It's like it's pulsing about once per second, and the picture gets blocky and streaky, especially when there is fast motion. This happens during both the commercials and the actual broadcast. I have not noticed this on any other channel. As far as I can remember, this stuttering also shows up when I view the recordings in another player, like WMP, but I'm not 100% sure of that. I haven't seen much about this on other threads, although I read of a similar issue someone had watching golf on CBS. I do not experience this on any other channel. In fact, I record "The Office" during the week (also NBC) and the recordings are fine, no sturttering. I haven't tried using other decoders or anything (don't have any NBC hockey recordings at this time). Any explanation for this? Thanks in advance!

I just recorded a game yesterday and the same playback issues are present: stuttering, smearing, and pixellated playback - essentially unwatchable. However, the recording plays fine when it's on my computer monitor in Sage. I tried changing video renderers, video decoder filters, DXVA MPEG modes and deinterlacing (not sure exactly what those do), all to no avail. I should note that I use the PVR-350's S-video output and it works fine.
Any help is appreciated!
