Intel Mac Placeshifter 6.1.8 No Music over Internets

Works fine if I'm local, but when I connected to the internets it won't play a thing. Anyone else have this problem? I see all the files fine and I know they are there, but after it loads the time on the track goes to "-00.00". I still in the trial version bc I wanted to make sure it works.
