Hush PC PVR

Newbie question:

I'm about to take delivery of a Hush PC. Though it's intended use was not as a PVR, are there any expert comments out there about hardware and software issues that might result in a successful adaptation for this purpose if I get tired of using it for just silent computing?

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, even those telling me that the cooling considerations with its non-ventilated case would prevent this use.

Lesley

Nice!, but the price :O

The mini-ITX (original model) should work with a PVR-250. It's based on a Via Epia M10000 motherboard, and it appears to have built in video out. Try searching these forums for "Epia" and you should get most of the information you need. It's been done and seems to work well.

I'm using a dedicated PC built with the same mainboard. I am having no luck at all getting the Actisys IR blaster (bought from Frey). to interact with any program. I have tried this on 3 machines with the same result. Other PCs seem to work with no headaches. If you get this working please post your method.
