Matrox RT2000???
This is probably just wishful thinking, but I have an old Matrox RT2000 cardset and breakout box laying around that I used to use for video editing. (It uses a specialized G400 for video out).
It has hardware MPEG1/MPEG2 Encoding built-in. (With bit-rates up to 25Mbps, and looks fantastic.) Would it be possible to use this as an input source with SageTV even though it has no tuner? Theoretically I could control the tuning separately via an IR Blaster or serial control over a cable box, so it would just be a signal coming in as an MPEG2 Stream. Any thoughts?
