SageTV stuck recording a single channel 24/7
I programmed SageTV to record a few shows on the comedy channel. Now SageTV 6.0_19 is recording the comedy channel 24/7. Every show! Intelligent recording is turned off. I went to each of the media extenders, watched the show, and then stopped playback to see if that would stop it. No luck. I have turned off the SageTV server to all of the media extenders. Still it keeps on going. There are no place shifters-not a possibility. There is no timed recording. It is stuck, or really obsessed with comedy.

Do you have your menu options set to always play video in the menu background? If so, Sage will keep playing (and recording) whatever channel you were last tuned to, just as if you left it on Live TV full time.

Video Menu options are set to "never" and "window".

Problem solved!!
After trying every possible combination of options and having been involuntarily forced to record the Comedy Channel for 2 straight days
 , the solution ended up being a reboot of the computer.  SageTV keeps things interesting.
