Sage machine died...
My sage tv box died (victim of an unfortunate power supply death.) I have an exact duplicate of the machine that I moved the drives and cards into (and here it begins.)
When I booted the identical machine, windows had to redetect the hauppage card, and Sage detected it, and set it to be ignored. Okay, childs play so far, I changed that, and for some reason it forced me to re-setup my card. Okay, still no problem so far, annoying, but no real problem. Once I had finished the setup, low and behold my channel re-orginizations were gone. Okay, so I have an old sage.properties file sitting around from when I first registered, so I copy and paste all of the channel settings that I can find. Still no luck. Not my day. Okay, so I backup the sage.properties file and remove the sage.properties.autobackup and then copy the old sage.properties file in thinking that since my Wiz.bin is intact, I should be okay. Yeah, did I say it's not my day? Nope, none of my favorites are there, and all of the videos that I had previously listed as tv library are now listed under the dreaded "video library." Okay, so I didn't remember to backup the wiz.bin before I opened sagetv. Am I toast here? Is there any way to move the videos back into the tv library? I'm not so much worried about my favorites because I can just rebuild them, but it's annoying to have the videos sitting in "video library" when they're really tv shows that I've watched and intended to keep in the library. Help?!
