It's kind of hard to identify, but one thing I've run into that I never saw with a single tuner is when I'm watching a program that is currently being recorded. I've gotten a freeze a couple of times in this case as well as when I had one recording going and trying to watch another.
Any others seeing anything like this?
I really can't say for sure that this is a SageTV problem as readers of the H/W Support forum will know that my addition of the 2nd tuner did not go totally smoothly. But it seems to be working just fine with eithe tuner when I'm not having anything recorded which suggests SageTV behavior/usage may be at least in part involved in the issues I'm running into.

Well, I don't have two tuners installed yet. I'm trying to sell my DVCR card on half.com , but I may just try that before I do.
Anyway, I switched from the DVCR card to the Hauppauge and SageTV thought that I had two tuners and set it up that way - which I can understand as I didn't remove the tuner from the setup before I installed another one. The problem you described used to happen to me - lock ups after a few minutes, etc....
What I did to solve it was to go to Setup and then to the Express Setup (the one where it's like a Wizard). Remove the line-ups with both cards, exit SageTV, restart, and then add them again in the same screen.
Hopefully, that will work for you.
