Which PVR card?

Hello everyone. After researching all the PVR software out there I think SageTV is on the top of my list! I do not have a tuner card yet and I'm trying to figure out which one to go with; the PVR-250 or the PVR-350. I understand most of the differences between the two cards and with SageTV version 2 just around the corner I'm leaning more towards the 350. I have read many of the posts on this board but still have a few questions that I hope someone can help out with.

Let me explain my current setup. I have a DirecTv reciever feeding s-video into my x-capture card. My current HTPC's only purpose is to clean-up and deinterlace the overly compressed satellite signal by using dScaler and then output the 4:3 signal (upconverted to 1080i w/ Powerstrip) into the VGA port on my Mitz HDTV. dScaler slowly pans the picture back and forth across my widesceen to prevent logo burn-in or will automatically remove the black bars on letterbox programming to fill the screen. I get a very clean and sharp picture this way.

I would now like to add a tuner card to take advantage of having the PVR/EPG functions. I understand that Sage v2 will have some kind of widescreen support. What about the current version? What type of options does/will it have to support this? Also, with version 2 the output of the 350 card will finally output the OSD from the s-video output. Could I use that output to input into my X-capture card to continue using dScaler?

The 350 has the advantage of a built-in MPEG decoder for output. Is the output of that decoder selectable between the s-video and the desktop for windowed/fullscreen VGA output or both?

My future concern is with using multiple tuners. It seems people are having better luck with two 250's as opposed to a 350/250 pair. Would it be best to just stick with a 250 and just output everything through VGA?

Sorry about the length and the many questions. Just trying to get some facts straight before spending cash on more hardware.

Thanks,
Rick S.
